The Magic Wand:

I have heard so many positive things about the Magic Wand Vibrator. A friend I met recently at Desire Resort was, in fact, a faithful user. Porn videos sometimes include the Magic Wand Vibrator in action. Typically, I don’t like “too strong” vibration/too fast speed and I don’t like pulsating rhythms so I was a little hesitant to try the product. Everyone I met who was an owner of the Magic Wand said it was very powerful, sh*t even the box says it. However, being the brave person I am, I decided to get it anyways just to see what all the hype was about. The exact wand I purchased is unavailable on Amazon, therefore, I linked a close enough version. The version on Amazon is rated 4.5 stars and costs $27.99.

Once we get our store up and running, I will, however, be selling the version I am reviewing.

When the Magic Wand Vibrator arrived at the front door, I was super stoked. I ripped the packaging open, whipped out the lube, found a decent porno and I was ready to go! But…It needed to be charged, so I let it charge for a few hours and took care of business using a backup mini bullet that was within reach. Two hours later, I go check if it’s ready for a round, but it wouldn’t turn on. I kinda panicked, thinking I was sent a dud. However, once I removed the plug (it’s wireless) it turned on. Wooohoooo. It works! By then it was too late to give it a go though, I was on a tight schedule and had other responsibilities.

The next day it was go-time. I pressed the on the button and the highest vibration began, I had to test out the intensity a few times before I got it “just right”. It worked well, I can’t complain.

Here is the good, the bad, and my final thoughts on the Magic Wand Vibrator:

The good:
  • 20 speeds/pulsing rhythms: This is good in terms of variety. You can experiment with different speeds and pulsing patterns. To be more specific, I believe it has 10 levels of vibration and 10 pulsing rhythms. I’m not sure about the exact number of speeds vs. pulses though.
  • Cordless– Although the original Magic Wand is with a cord, I simply could not purchase a vibrator with a cord. For one thing, I masturbate in my closet where it’s harder to find me (lol) and there’s no outlet in my closet. Cordless means I can take it anywhere I want and without worrying about the cord. I don’t have to worry about changing batteries. I simply just plug it in and charge it.
The bad:
  • Size: It’s huge at 13” long. Maybe it’s just me, but I it’s way too bulky and ginormous for my liking. Some people may like a bigger toy though, it’s all about personal preference.
  • 2 buttons:  It’s a little difficult to find exactly what you are looking for using one button for ON/OFF and the other to navigate speed/pulses. You have to keep pressing the button to find your perfect match. It also took me a little bit to figure out how to turn it OFF (FYI: you press and hold the ON/OFF button until it turns off).
  • Not waterproof: I never take my toys in the bath or shower or anything like that, but I’d like to be able to if the opportunity arose. The fact that it’s not waterproof just means you gotta be extra cautious when cleaning it.
Final Thoughts:

It’s just not for me. I like smaller and sleeker design. I’m a petite woman and this thing is like the size of my forearm. I give it 3.5 stars. It works great, the vibrations are adequate, but it’s the size that bothers me. I would still choose my Passion Wireless Wand by Plush over this one any day. It’s a good deal for those looking for a larger toy for $27.99.
