Vibrator Review: Ina by Lelo

Years ago, and I mean years, I bought Ina by Lelo, my first vibrator. Back then, I did my research and decided that while there were cheaper vibrators out there, Lelo used safer materials in their products. Also, I was under that young, stupid belief that if something was more expensive there must be a reason behind it, and thus far more superior. In this case, I wasn’t wrong. Oh, WOW.

Ina is magical and I 100% recommend it.

Pros:
  • Ina by Lelo’s design is so perfect that once you insert it and turn it on, everything is in the right places and amazing. G-spot and clit were in heaven. This was the first and so far, only toy to make me squirt! It wasn’t even at a high intensity; I think it was only the second or third lowest intensity.
  • There are a variety of vibration patterns and intensities.
  • You can lock the vibrator so that it won’t accidently turn on when you’re traveling with it. Firstly, you avoid having people around you wonder what that buzzing sound is and secondly, you don’t unknowingly drain the battery.
  • About two hours to charge completely and can be used for hours on one charge.
Cons:
  • Not waterproof
  • Excessive use may lead to some numbing
  • Slightly noisy

There aren’t many cons; that just how awesome this toy is. When this toy originally came out, there was no waterproof version, they came out with one not terribly long ago, called the Lelo Ina Wave and LELO Ina 2. As for the numbing, this only starts to set, personally, in after about 40 minutes of use, but ultimately it depends on your own sensitivity and the intensity used. When I say numbing though, I don’t mean that you won’t feel anything anymore, orgasms are still possible, but just a little bit harder to achieve. Honestly, I believe that anything that has a high level of intense vibrations will lead to some numbing, no matter the product.

While it’s not the quietest toy around, it’s also not very loud, more than likely you won’t hear it very well beyond a door, if at all. If the highest intensity will be used, I suggest putting on a movie or some music in the background if more discretion is necessary.

Sadly, the original Ina by Lelois hard to find since LELO Ina 2 and Lelo Ina Wave

LELO Ina 2 and Lelo Ina Wave are quieter than the original Ina, the main shaft has been increased in length, and the handle is also longer. The difference between the clitoral shaft and the main shaft for both LELO Ina 2 and Lelo Ina Wave is greater; however, the Lelo Ina Wave has the largest distance. Ina Wave has more vibration patterns and can mimic LELO Ina 2 in one of the settings by stopping the main shaft from waving. LELO Ina 2 has eight vibration patterns, while Lelo Ina Wave has 10.

Between the two, my next buy will be the Lelo Ina Wave, just because the waving movement seems interesting to experience.
